We will show our cultivation of vegetables and greens, the centuries-old olive trees present in the countryside and we will carry out the milking of the goats, the raw material of our Slow Food Cacioricotta. At the end of the visit, a tasting will be offered with “pane tuosto and pummarola”, cheeses of various maturations with jam and other tastings depending on the season.
Carmela and her goats
Carmela knows all her goats, one by one, name by name. He rears them in his countryside at the foot of Monte Stella, in the hamlet of Acquavella – Casalvelino. The passion was handed down by her parents, farmers for a lifetime, who taught her to produce goat cacioricotta, a Slow Food presidium and many other typical Cilento products.
