Acquavella is part of “Il Parco Nazionale del Cilento e Vallo di Diano”, which boasts some of the most beautiful points of interest such as the Archaeological Park of Paestum or Elea-Velia, Pioppi, that is the world capital of the Mediterranean diet, Mont Gelbison that hosts an old sanctuary and many seaside locations like Palinuro, Camerota, Acciaroli and Castellabate.
Acquavella is a small village with a population of 500 people that make their little town a place where friendship, peace and hospitality are the most important qualities. You can always find our curious older citizens, when upon seeing a foreigner, will ask you in our dialect “Where are you from?” No matter what your answer, you can guarantee you will have found a new friend.
The village is located on a sunny hill which contributes to our beautiful climate, that is enjoyable throughout the year. From every point of Acquavella, you can stare at the blue sea, which is only a few kilometres away. You can also admire the green mountains which are easily accesible by a quick walk and they also are the perfect place to do sports.
